Valley of Giants & Street Art in Bunburry

Wäääh, Fahrtag. Since the South was so beautiful we hesitated to leave, spent more time there and are now heading directly towards Bunbury, leave out the originaly planed wineries at Margret River. To break up the long drive we make a quick stop at the Valley of Giants. But to be honest we weren’t all that impressed by this huge gum trees. Guess the rain forests we’ve seen in other places just offered more variety. Therefore, we waived the tree top walk in order to a convenient stroll trough the forrest.

The drive through the forrest with its winding roads feels like it’s taking ages. A quick break

And finally we arrive at our beautiful campground at the Peppermint Cove Beach.

I admit Bunbury is nothing one needs to see, hardly any nice buildings or friendly looking cafes. We’re only here cuz I was doing some research regarding Street Art inPerth and accidentially stumbled over some pieces in Bunbury, took us half a day to see all of the, but afterwards we’re off to Freemantle.

I swear, I was convinced, there is a real ladder…

The cute guys on the power stations are just adorable….

  1. Hey Marietta
Da hat’s ja ein paar ganz krasse Graffitis! Mir gefällt das mit der Frau die ein Haus auf dem Rücken trägt besonders gut 👍
    Liebe Grüsse
